Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Baoboza marketplace as a buyer, supplier or visitor.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

1. About Baoboza

Baoboza operates a cross-border marketplace that connects buyers in Africa with suppliers in China and worldwide. Baoboza facilitates transactions between buyers and suppliers but is not the manufacturer or seller of listed goods unless stated otherwise.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. Business (B2B) accounts may require company documents for verification. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. Orders and pricing

  • Retail (B2C) orders are charged at listed unit prices.
  • Bulk (B2B) orders may qualify for tiered pricing or a negotiated quote.
  • Prices exclude freight, duties and local taxes unless explicitly stated.
  • Minimum order quantities set by suppliers apply to every listing.

4. Payments and commission

Payments are collected by Baoboza through approved payment providers and released to suppliers after shipment is confirmed. Baoboza deducts a platform commission from each completed sale; the applicable rate is shown in the supplier dashboard.

5. Supplier obligations

Suppliers must list accurate product information, honour published pricing and lead times, maintain stock accuracy, and ship approved orders within the stated window. Baoboza may suspend or remove listings and accounts that breach these obligations.

6. Shipping and delivery

Delivery estimates are provided by suppliers and freight partners and are not guaranteed. Risk passes according to the agreed shipping terms for each order.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Baoboza is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from transactions between buyers and suppliers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice on the platform.
